Cryptocurrency Payment Terms and Conditions

These Cryptocurrency (“Crypto”) Payment Terms & Conditions (“Crypto Terms”) apply to your use of Crypto as your selected payment method transactions made on ipaymy’s platform or other offered services in certain jurisdictions. Please read these Crypto Terms carefully. By using Crypto as your method of payment, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Crypto Terms. These Crypto Terms apply in addition to the terms and conditions contained in the ipaymy Terms of Services (“Service Terms”) found here www.ipaymy.com/terms-conditions. If there is a conflict between these Crypto Terms and the Service Terms with respect to Crypto transactions, these Crypto Terms apply. If you do not agree with any of the terms and conditions in these Crypto Terms, do not select Crypto as your payment method.

We reserve the right to change, suspend, remove, disable, or impose access restrictions or limits on our acceptance of Crypto as a payment method for our services at any time without liability to you, in our sole and absolute discretion.

When prompted during the payment process, we may, in our sole discretion, allow you to select Crypto as the payment method for your purchase of eligible products and services as well as to select merchants in certain jurisdictions as set forth in our various Support Articles at https://help.ipaymy.com/en/ which may be updated by us from time to time. This includes both Pay and Fetch services, as well as any other Services ipaymy may offer. We may require you to provide us with additional information such as supporting documentation containing your Full Name, Date of Birth, and Nationality to allow us to verify your identity when you select Crypto as your payment method.

If you decide to use Crypto to pay for an eligible product, service, or merchant, you must have a digital wallet and you must select Crypto as the payment method for your purchase when we prompt you to select a payment method. We will provide you a digital destination wallet address (“Wallet Address”) in both alphanumeric and QR code form. This is the payment address location to which you will need to send Crypto from your digital wallet. You may copy and paste or manually input the alphanumeric code that we provide to you into the recipient field in your digital wallet software or, if your digital wallet software supports QR codes, scan the QR code that we provide to you using your device to auto-populate the recipient field with the alphanumeric code.

PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CONFIRM AND VERIFY THAT THE ALPHANUMERIC CODE THAT WE PROVIDE TO YOU IS ACCURATELY REFLECTED IN THE RECIPIENT FIELD OF YOUR DIGITAL WALLET SOFTWARE. YOU MUST EXERCISE CARE WHEN INPUTTING THE CRYPTO ADDRESS INTO THE RECIPIENT FIELD BECAUSE CRYPTO TRANSACTIONS CANNOT BE REVERSED. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FAILURE TO ACCURATELY INPUT THE ALPHANUMERIC CODE INTO THE RECIPIENT FIELD.

All transactions are priced in Fiat Currency. If you choose to make a payment using Crypto, you must pay an amount of Crypto that is of equivalent value to the designated and displayed Fiat Currency purchase price of the eligible product, service, or merchant you are paying to. We will provide you with a Fiat Currency price for the product or service that you are paying for, as well as a Crypto equivalent price (the “Crypto Price”). You must initiate the transfer of the Crypto Price to us within the time period that we provide to you (the “Crypto Price Window”). If you do not initiate the transfer of the Crypto Price to us within the Crypto Price Window, the Crypto Price will expire, and we will provide you with a new Crypto Price and Crypto Price Window upon your request.

You will need to input the Crypto Price into the amount field in your digital wallet software to transfer the Crypto Price to us. For example, if the payment webpage prompts you to make a payment of $100 (0.00287508 BTC) to us, you will input 0.00287508 BTC into the amount field of your digital wallet software.

PLEASE EXERCISE CARE WHEN INPUTTING THE CORRECT CRYPTO PRICE INTO THE AMOUNT FIELD BECAUSE CRYPTO TRANSACTIONS CANNOT BE REVERSED.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONFIRMING THAT YOU INPUT THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF CRYPTO AND THE CORRECT CRYPTO ADDRESS INTO YOUR DIGITAL WALLET SOFTWARE. IF YOU INPUT THE CRYPTO ADDRESS INCORRECTLY, YOUR CRYPTO MAY BE IRRETRIEVABLY LOST OR DESTROYED. IF YOU CHOOSE TO INPUT THE CRYPTO ADDRESS BY SCANNING A QR CODE OR COPY AND PASTING THE ALPHANUMERIC CODE, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CONFIRM THAT THE ALPHANUMERIC WALLET ADDRESS THAT WE PROVIDE TO YOU IS IDENTICAL TO THE ALPHANUMERIC WALLET ADDRESS THAT POPULATES IN YOUR DIGITAL WALLET SOFTWARE UPON SCANNING THE QR CODE OR COPYING AND PASTING THE ALPHANUMERIC CODE. WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOST CRYPTO OR OTHER DIGITAL ASSET AS A RESULT OF YOU SENDING CRYPTO TO AN INCORRECT WALLET ADDRESS OR SENDING A DIGITAL ASSET THAT IS NOT CRYPTO TO US.

You are responsible for directly paying all Crypto network fees (“Transaction Fees”) as well as any applicable ipaymy Fees (“Fee”) associated with the transaction, separate and apart from the Crypto Price. If your digital wallet software does not automatically generate a Transaction Fee amount for you, you must calculate the amount of Transaction Fees necessary for the transaction to process on the Crypto network. The Transaction Fee may cover the cost of verifying Crypto transactions. We have no control over the Transaction Fee and do not receive any portion of the Transaction Fee.

Once a Crypto transaction is submitted to the Crypto network, it will be unconfirmed for a period of time until the Crypto network reflects such transfer in a certain number of consecutive blocks on the Crypto network. We will consider your transaction pending until the Crypto network reflects the transaction in such a number of consecutive blocks. You will receive a confirmation within the ipaymy platform or other services offered by ipaymy as well as a receipt via email.

The price of Crypto can be volatile and subject to upward and downward movements. You are responsible for initiating a payment of Crypto in the exact Crypto Price amount indicated on the payment webpage within the Crypto Price Window. Each Crypto Price will expire after the Crypto Price Window. After the Crypto Price expires, you will need to request a new Crypto Price and Crypto Price Window on the payment page, and/or you may be required to restart the payment process. With respect to order fees and/or deposits, if you transmit an amount other than the Crypto Price, your order may fail, we may refund your order fee and/or deposit pursuant to these Crypto Terms, and you will be required to resubmit the payment to us in the correct amount to allow us to process your payment. With respect to final payments: (i) if you transmit less than the Crypto Price, we will keep your payment and apply it to the amount due and you will be required to pay the outstanding balance; (ii) if you transmit more than the Crypto Price, you will not be entitled to reimbursement of the excess amount.

Once you initiate a Crypto transaction, the transaction cannot be reversed. This is inherent in the nature of various Crypto networks; not a policy set by us. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING THAT YOU HAVE INPUTTED THE CORRECT CRYPTO ADDRESS INTO THE RECIPIENT FIELD AND THE CORRECT CRYPTO PRICE INTO THE AMOUNT FIELD IN YOUR DIGITAL WALLET SOFTWARE.

We do not own or control the underlying software protocols that govern the operation of various Crypto networks. Crypto network protocols are open source, and anyone can use, copy, modify, and distribute them. We are not responsible for the operation of the Crypto network protocols. The Crypto network protocols are subject to sudden changes in operating rules (e.g., forks), and such changes may materially affect the value, function, and/or even the name of Crypto. In the event of a fork, we may, at our reasonable discretion, decide whether or not to suspend or discontinue accepting payments in the form of Crypto. WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY FAILURE OF THE CRYPTO NETWORK PROTOCOL THAT RESULTS IN A FAILED PAYMENT OF CRYPTO TO US OR OTHERWISE INVOLVES YOUR CRYPTO PAYMENT.

Hackers or other malicious groups or organizations may attempt to interfere with the various Crypto networks and/or Crypto network transactions in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, malware attacks, denial of service attacks, consensus-based attacks, Sybil attacks, smurfing, and spoofing. You should exercise caution and care when making your payment in Crypto. WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY SECURITY INCIDENT THAT RESULTS IN A FAILED PAYMENT OF CRYPTO TO US OR OTHERWISE INVOLVES YOUR CRYPTO PAYMENT.

The legal and regulatory environment surrounding digital assets continues to evolve in all global jurisdictions. To the extent you choose to use Crypto as a payment method, you are solely responsible for compliance with any applicable laws.

You agree to provide us with information that we request for the purposes of verifying your identity, the nature of your transaction, and the detection of money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or any other financial crimes and permit us to keep a record of such information. You confirm that all such information is accurate and authentic and agree to keep us updated if any of the information you provide changes. You authorize us to make inquiries, whether directly or through third parties, that we consider necessary to verify your identity or protect you and/or us against fraud or other financial crime, and to take action we reasonably deem necessary based on the results of such inquiries. When we carry out these inquiries, you acknowledge and agree that your personal information may be disclosed to fraud prevention or financial crime agencies and that these agencies may respond to our inquiries in full. If you are entitled to a refund of your payment or your payment can not be accepted due to regulatory reasons and must be refunded, we reserve the right to refund to you either the exact Crypto Price that you provided to us at the time of purchase or an amount of Fiat Currency that is equivalent to the Fiat Currency price of the product or service that you paid for through ipaymy, at our sole and absolute discretion, taking into consideration operational efficiency and regulatory factors. The same applies to all fees and incidental costs to which you are entitled.

THE PRICE OF CRYPTO CAN BE VOLATILE AND THE VALUE OF CRYPTO RELATIVE TO RESPECTIVE FIAT CURRENCIES MAY DECREASE OR INCREASE BETWEEN THE TIME THAT YOU MAKE YOUR PAYMENT AND THE TIME THAT WE PROVIDE A REFUND. IF WE REFUND YOU IN CRYPTO, THE VALUE OF SUCH AMOUNT OF CRYPTO RELATIVE TO FIAT CURRENCY MIGHT BE SIGNIFICANTLY LESS THAN THE VALUE OF SUCH AMOUNT OF CRYPTO RELATIVE TO FIAT CURRENCY AT THE TIME OF YOUR PURCHASE. IF WE REFUND YOU IN FIAT CURRENCY, THE FIAT CURRENCY AMOUNT THAT WE PROVIDE TO YOU AS A REFUND MIGHT BE SIGNIFICANTLY LESS THAN THE CURRENT FIAT CURRENCY MARKET VALUE OF THE AMOUNT OF CRYPTO IN WHICH YOU MADE YOUR PAYMENT. YOU ASSUME THE RISK OF CRYPTO PRICE DEPRECIATION AND APPRECIATION AND WILL HAVE NO RIGHT TO SELECT THE METHOD OF REFUND. YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO RECEIVE ANY APPRECIATION ON THE VALUE OF THE CRYPTO THAT YOU PROVIDED TO US AS PAYMENT IN CONNECTION WITH A REFUND.
